On 7th June 2024, Drumsheds hosted Wavey Garms Presents: The Interview, a creative collaboration between Wavey Garms and Lyle & Scott, celebrating Lyle & Scott’s 150th anniversary. The film followed the protagonist on his journey to a job interview at Lyle & Scott, with each stop in the elevator exploring key British cultural moments: the 1970s golf scene, the 1980s football casual movement, and the indie culture of the early 2000s.
Drumsheds’ expansive, flexible space proved essential for bringing these eras to life. The venue’s private elevator access allowed the production team to film without restrictions, a key advantage when shooting in public spaces. With its vast layout, Drumsheds provided multiple settings for different scenes, eliminating the need for additional locations. The venue also offered dressing rooms for a last-minute scene addition, providing much-needed flexibility.
The shoot logistics were supported by Drumsheds’ spacious backstage areas, which accommodated crew holding, hair and makeup, and catering, as well as onsite parking for smooth operations. Thanks to expert planning and execution by Spaces & Stories, the shoot ran effortlessly, demonstrating Drumsheds’ ability to host high-profile, high-energy productions.
